I am Faroq Fares, a final-year medical student from Gaza. Despite the extremely difficult circumstances, I am determined to pursue my dream of completing my medical specialization in Germany. I have already begun learning German and have made significant progress, believing that education is my path to serving my people and my homeland.
However, I am facing a major obstacle: one of the visa requirements is to open a blocked bank account with €12,336 - an amount far beyond my means given the situation we are living in.
With your support, I can overcome this step and continue my journey - not only to achieve my dream, but to return one day as a doctor capable of contributing to rebuilding and strengthening Gaza’s healthcare system.
Investing in my education is an investment in a much-needed medical and humanitarian future.
Any support or even sharing my story can make a real difference in my life and in the lives of those I hope to serve.

I am Rima, a Pharm.D student at the University of Palestine in Gaza. I am currently studying on a scholarship that is conditional upon maintaining a GPA above 90%. Given the high tuition fees, which I cannot afford on my own, and my pursuit of academic excellence, I am seeking to continue my studies at prestigious universities in Turkey or Italy. My goal is to obtain high-quality education and clinical training that align with my professional aspirations.

My name is Mohammed, I am 19 years old, and I live in Gaza.
I am currently in my first year of undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering at Al-Azhar University.
I am writing this because I need help. Not to tell a dramatic story, but to explain what daily life looks like for me right now.
Before the war, things were normal. I was focused on school and on building my future. I wanted to study and eventually work to support my family. My older brothers were a big part of that support, both financially and personally.
When the war started, everything changed.
We had to leave our home, and my brothers stayed behind to help others. Shortly after, they were killed in an airstrike. Since then, we have lost our home and our main source of support.
My father is too old to work, so the responsibility for my family is now on me.
I am still trying to continue my studies, but it is not simple.
Electricity is unreliable, so I often study at night when it is available. Internet connection is unstable, which makes it difficult to follow lessons or complete exams. Sometimes I cannot even access my grades unless I pay university fees that I currently cannot afford.
At the same time, daily life has become complicated.
Water is limited and sometimes not safe to drink. Food is expensive and not always available. Bread is sold in limited quantities, and even paying for it can be difficult due to the lack of cash.
There is no regular electricity, and alternative energy sources are extremely expensive.
We are currently living in a very old house with poor conditions, and the rent keeps increasing. We don’t have many options if we are asked to leave.
All of this makes it difficult to plan anything ahead.
There are moments when I feel like I might have to stop studying and work full-time just to support my family.
But continuing my education is important to me. It is the only realistic way I have to improve our situation in the future.
From Gaza to a PhD: Help Me Rebuild My Future Through Education
My name is Almoatasembellah Shaqfa, a Palestinian researcher from Gaza with a Master’s degree in Linguistics and Translation. Despite years of war, displacement, destruction, and uncertainty, I have continued pursuing education as a way to survive, serve my community, and preserve hope.
The war in Gaza has devastated every aspect of life. I have been deeply affected emotionally, academically, and financially. Universities were damaged, opportunities disappeared, and daily survival became a struggle. Yet I still hold onto one dream: completing a PhD and becoming a voice for research, language, and human dignity.
I am raising $45,000 USD to cover travel costs, visa fees, university tuition, accommodation, and living expenses during my PhD studies abroad in a safe and stable country. This support would give me a chance not only to continue my education, but to rebuild a future that war tried to erase.
Every contribution, share, or kind word helps carry this dream across borders.
Mohammed Khalil Mosbah Elzayyan is a brilliant 19 years-old student from Gaza, who has consistently excelled at school, demonstrating strong academic results, commitment and determination. His goal is to study medicine, driven by the desire to become a doctor who can care for others and give back to his community. Since September, Mohammed started studying at the Islamic University of Gaza. Due to the current situation and instability and despite focusing and making all possible efforts to achieve his goal, studying in Gaza is not a viable option. The conditions in which he lives make it impossible for him to cover the costs of university education. The goal of this campaign is to enable Mohammed Mohammed to complete his first year of university laying the foundation for a stable and continuous course of study. Investing in the education of a motivated, eager to learn and dedicated student means investing in the future. Supporting Mohammed is not only helping one individual but contributing to the training of a future doctor who will have a tangible and positive impact on the lives of many others.

My name is Abdallah Abo Zanona from Gaza. I am a student with a lifelong dream: to become a Cybersecurity Engineer, protecting digital horizons and building a secure, better future for my community. This passion has accompanied me since childhood, guiding my steps all the way to university.
I graduated from high school with a high GPA of 91% in the Scientific Track. However, the path to continuing my education has been filled with unimaginable challenges. Over the course of the ongoing war, my family and I have been forced to displace and relocate more than 23 times. Currently, and for the past three months, I have been living in an UNRWA shelter—a place that lacks the most basic requirements for a decent human life.
Yet, even during the darkest times, amidst the constant sound of bombardments, total electricity blackouts, and the complete absence of the internet, I refused to let my dream die. I used to sit inside the tent, holding my books, studying under the dimmest light just to remain among the top of my peers. I have always aimed for excellence, and I will not let these harsh circumstances dictate my future.
With the start of the second semester, universities in Gaza have initiated in-person, face-to-face learning. To attend my classes, I must commute daily between different governorates, which is both exhausting and financially exhausting. Today, I face severe difficulty covering my tuition fees and acquiring the essential tools needed for my engineering major.
My name is Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan Al-Qatrawi, and I'm from Gaza. I'm 20 years old and a student at the University College of Applied Sciences, where I am studying Artificial Intelligence and Programming. I have always been inspired by the use of technology in solving real world problems and getting the chance to study this field means I can acquire skills to create meaningful change in my own life and my community, especially given the difficult circumstances we live in in Gaza.
At the university, I am participating in educational courses and training projects that help me gain hands-on experience and strengthen my technical skills. However, I am now facing a major challenge in continuing my studies because I do not own a suitable laptop for the work my courses require. The biggest challenge I face without a laptop is that I study and take courses only on my phone, which makes writing code, implementing projects, and attending practical workshops very difficult and tiring. It significantly limits my ability to apply knowledge practically and may require me to pause my studies.
Having a laptop would give me the ability to continue my education in an efficient and purposeful way. I will be able to complete projects, attend classes, and study remotely. I kindly ask for your support in helping me purchase a laptop so I can continue my education and develop my career as a developer/engineer, to build a better future for myself and my family
My name is Reema from Gaza. I am 22 years old, and I have completed my Bachelor's degree. My dream is to obtain a Master's scholarship in Business Administration abroad, specifically in Qatar, as this will help me achieve my goals, strengthen my professional network, and advance my academic and career path. I am currently focused on building my future despite all challenges, and I strongly believe that education is the key to creating real change in my life.
This campaign was created with a clear goal. I have completed my Bachelor's degree at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, but I have not been able to receive my official certificate because I still have outstanding university fees that must be paid. The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to pay the remaining fees so I can obtain my Bachelor's certificate. Without it, I cannot apply for Master's scholarships or continue my studies abroad.
All collected funds will be transferred directly to the university to cover the remaining fees, which amount to 2,260$, allowing me to officially receive my Bachelor's degree. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a real and meaningful difference. Your support brings me one step closer to continuing my education and building a better future.

My dream is to become a doctor and help patients in my community. Despite the financial and living conditions I face every day, I have not given up. I am still here, still studying, still committed to my education and to the future I know is possible. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference.y Thank you."
Pursuing a medical degree anywhere is hard. Doing it in Gaza right now is something else entirely. Rahaf is doing it anyway, and the only thing currently standing between her and her next semester is tuition she cannot cover alone.
Your generous donation goes directly toward her university fees and related academic costs.
My name is Hamza Shehada from Gaza. I am 29 years old and
I have studied and have been working in the Gaza health administration for the last decade. I am writing to you not as someone asking for rescue, but as someone ready to act.
I have received an offer from the Federal University of Grande Dourados, Brazil to pursue my studies in MSc Public Health. Studying at UFGD is completely free, with no tuition or registration fees. Yet a significant financial gap remains, and I am reaching out to this community for support.
What I have been witnessing here in Gaza has changed me deeply. When the infrastructure collapsed and the electricity went out, our digital health systems failed with it. Electronic medical records went dark, patients became invisible. I have never been more certain of what I want to dedicate my life to: building a healthcare system that is truly worthy of my community's survival.
Right now, the most meaningful thing I can do for Gaza is to keep learning, to come back one day with the knowledge and tools to make things better. But I cannot do that from here. There are no academic options left for me in Gaza. Leaving, as painful as it is, is the only way forward.
Every dollar raised with this campaign goes directly toward getting me to Brazil and supporting me through my first year of study
